I believe in the healing power of authentic self-expression, where we will explore your strengths and challenges. We will navigate life’s stressors without re-traumatization but by fostering resilience and self-expression.

My passion is working with people with trauma/complex trauma backgrounds, as well as those who experience anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use.

My professional journey includes work in creative after-school programs with adolescents, support for adults coping with persistent mental illness diagnoses in community mental health clinics, supervision of the Expressive Therapy department in a psychiatric inpatient hospital, and private practice.

I am from Azerbaijan and am fluent in Russian. This cultural depth enhances my capacity to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them address issues of identity and acculturation thoughtfully, fostering resilience, self-expression, and self-regulation in a supportive environment where they feel understood and valued.

I earned my Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University, Chicago. Outside work, I enjoy socializing and spending time with loved ones—exploring museums, attending concerts, trying out new restaurants, and strolling around the city. I enjoy listening to music, engaging in my art-making, reading, and cherishing moments with my dog.
