Sean Murray
Therapist
I became a therapist because I realized there is power in being more self-aware; there are insights we can all gain to enrich our lives and overcome what we are struggling with. I enjoy working with adults, children and families who have experienced trauma, varied mental health diagnoses, and legal and socioeconomic concerns. Whether you are dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, or relationship problems we all have the means to understand, change, and live better lives.
I work from a systemic, collaborative, strength-based approach that is mindful of cultural, ethnic, and economic concerns. I have an eclectic approach that includes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques with an eye toward how people can use their support system, community resources, mindfulness, and newly learned skills to live the kind of life they envision for themselves. I am committed to self-development to enhance quality of life. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University.
