Melody Jackson
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MSW, LCSW
Therapist
My passion for being a Psychotherapist stems from the desire to help others reach their highest potential, no matter the obstacles in life. Individual therapy creates a confidential, caring, and safe environment that promotes self-discovery and growth. My philosophy aims to meet you where you are and to guide and support you by building hope, resiliency, and self–love. I will empower you by using therapeutic strategies that instill aspiration, courage, and progress.
My experience includes family, couples, individual, and group services. Specialties of services include depression, anxiety, generational trauma, behavioral and parenting issues, bullying, and domestic violence. Couples treatment provides a safe and trusting environment where we can identify issues/barries and achieve growth. The goal is to strengthen and solidify the existing union and work together to create a successful and healthy relationship and/or marriage.
I received a Master's Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Barat College with a Minor in Women's Studies.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in child welfare, family and child therapy, adult and geriatric treatment.
My enjoyable moments include traveling with friends and family, spending time in nature, and attending live sports events.
