Kathryn Sapoznick is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with adults who are experiencing life transitions, relationship problems, trauma, the quest for spiritual wellness, stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, identity issues and career challenges.

She has a holistic, strength based, client centered approach to counseling, and establishes a trusting therapeutic relationship to work collaboratively with clients, providing support as their personal problem issues are addressed. Kathryn believes personal struggles often seem hopeless, but discovering the patterns which influence emotional distress, and learning how to cope and change them, is part of the process of self-discovery and healing. Recognizing these patterns opens the door to increased understanding and control over one’s life.

Kathryn is an empathic and compassionate therapist dedicated to helping each client understand and change inner conflicts and struggles. She believes learning is an ongoing transformative process and welcomes working with clients of all backgrounds and cultures.

Kathryn has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Northeastern University, Chicago and a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
