Erica earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse (2015) and continued on and completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles (2022).
After graduating from undergrad, Erica volunteered with Americorps in the Buffalo, New York school system as an academic specialist and crisis counselor where she discovered her passion for supporting individuals through their mental health journey. Erica has years of experience working with children, adolescence, and adults who are on the Autism Spectrum where she worked alongside caregivers, teachers, and family members to provide Applied Behavior Analysist (ABA) services. In Los Angeles Erica provided school-based therapy at a K-8th grade school where she used CBT, Person Centered, play therapy, solution focused, strength-based therapy and family therapy to explore anxiety, depression, attachment, trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, learning disabilities, ADHD, self-esteem, time management, emotion regulation, and parenting training and education.
Erica believes in creating an open, welcoming, fun, and collaborative environment for all who walk through the door so that both short- and long-term goals can be reached and maintained! It is important to Erica for everyone to feel comfortable and supported while working at the individual’s pace to achieve happiness and healing.
During Erica’s free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and playing with her puppy, listening to audiobooks, and getting a workout in on her stationary bike.
