I have yet to learn your unique story, which I know matters. There are a million and one reasons that could have led you to be here. Your decision to reach out says more than you may think. I am committed to working with you to help meet your desired goals. I believe in meeting you where you are while ensuring you are equipped to get where you would like to be! I work with clients to address, explore, and better manage stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, ADHD, PTSD, injustices, relationship/family, women’s and young adult issues, racial barriers, parenting challenges, and various unexpected life changes.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is described as caring, outgoing, humorous, and direct (yet gentle). Prior to being licensed, I received my B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I spent six years as a school social worker, where I supported youth and families with a wide variety of needs. I also served and maintained an adult caseload through virtual therapy during that time. I am excited to expand my practice to a more individualized and clinical setting. I have a great deal of experience working with clients to address, explore, and better manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, PTSD, injustices, relationship and family issues, self-esteem, women’s issues, young adult issues, racial barriers, parenting challenges, and various unexpected life changes. I love encouraging my clients while challenging them along the way. I believe in meeting you where you are while also ensuring that you are fully equipped to get where you would like to be!

My approaches are typically Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Culturally Sensitive, and Strength Based.
