Licensed Social Worker, MSW

Therapist

I believe therapy takes on many forms and is not a cookie-cutter process. That is the sort of approach I take with individuals who took the courageous step toward therapy for their healing journey. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and therapeutic space for you and your goals. To better tailor to those goals, I focus on an integrative approach of using a systems, strengths-based, or client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that you are the expert in your own life. You know yourself and your life more than I do, so I value hearing your story and providing you with support and tools to get you where you want to be.

I received my Masters in Social Work from Governors State University with a specialization in Holistic Social Work after graduating with my Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in
Psychology from Lewis University. I have had the pleasure of working in many different settings and with many different walks of life- from kids and adolescents to adults and the aging community. Many of my skills to help in your healing journey include DBT, ACT, CBT, and overall mindfulness and a more holistic approach to well-being.

Outside of work I enjoy going for walks, meditation, and hanging out with my animals. I am passionate about my own healing journey and learning to navigate my own space in this crazy,
but beautiful world- I can’t wait to help you with yours!
